A charming comedy set in a French Quarter apartment in New Orleans. Malter Ashton, a medical student, must revive his spiritless life with the help of three vivacious New Orleans women: Gillian, a passion-filled romantic; Aunt Sara, his interfering relative; and Dale Ellen, his witty sister. The play explores family, love, and what it takes to live with humor and grace in the face of loss.

Performance History: Produced at Southern Rep and at the Festival Internationale de la France in Lafayette, LA, April 1997, and at the Theatre de Nesle, Paris and the Brotfabrik Theatre, Bonn, Germany, November 1997. The French version staged at the Theatre Workshop Sorbonne University and at the Avignon New Plays Festival, May-July 1998.
