Property

By Rosary Hartel O'Neill

Synopsis

A contemporary romantic comedy set in a Garden District mansion in New Orleans. Young artist Rooster Dubonnet, dying of a terminal disease, falls for Monica Falcon, a New-Age nurse who arrives to care for him. As the rain falls and secrets emerge, Rooster must confront how property—houses, possessions, family wealth—is used to control children and stifle love. What matters more: false societal standards or human connection?
