Christian a newly turned vampire doesn't want to be a vampire and has refused the kill. But he is corrupting, from gouging himself with rats and will turn to dust if he doesn't take on a big kill. Now he must kill a priest whose blood is thrice as thick as a human's to survive. His wife, desperate for romance (he isn't strong enough) gets him to agree to kill the Queen of the Voodoos. She's 500 years old but still fertile and is the Queen of the Vampires. Since she has bitten him, she owns him and demands fulfillment (Vampires are monogamous). He agrees to kill Marie, if his wife will cool down. Marie is in a coma and half alive. Her holy blind daughter is trying to bring her back to life through prayer. But Marie seduces him to her bordello on the Lake Front with her love potion number 9. His jealous queen wife catches them. He offers to go live in frigid Pluto with her. But she insists he murder Marie before they leave. Can he?
